HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid builds the confidence and advanced practical skills to respond to serious injuries and medical emergencies in the workplace. This course covers the recognition, assessment and management of a wide range of conditions, with a strong focus on effective emergency care until professional help arrives. Designed for nominated workplace first aid officers, this course is delivered by qualified paramedics with real-world emergency experience.

Assessment requirements
Assessment for HLTAID014 includes an online theory component and a comprehensive practical skills assessment conducted in person. Participants must demonstrate competency across a range of advanced first aid scenarios. There are no written exams.
Entry and prerequisite requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for HLTAID014. However, participants are recommended to hold or be working towards HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid). This course is designed for those taking on a first aid officer role in the workplace.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete HLTAID014 will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Valid for 3 years, with CPR recommended for annual renewal.
