Course overview
HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy builds the practical skills and confidence to manage life-threatening emergencies using advanced resuscitation techniques and oxygen therapy equipment. This course covers the use of oxygen delivery devices, airway and resuscitation equipment, defibrillation, and the ongoing care of an unconscious casualty when medical assistance may be delayed. Training is delivered by qualified paramedics with real-world emergency experience.

Assessment requirements
Assessment for HLTAID015 includes an online theory component and a practical skills assessment conducted in person. Participants must demonstrate competency in advanced resuscitation techniques, oxygen therapy administration and airway management. There are no written exams.
Entry and prerequisite requirements
Participants are recommended to hold HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) or equivalent prior to undertaking HLTAID015. Please contact us if you are unsure whether this course is appropriate for your current skill level.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete HLTAID015 will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Valid for 3 years, with CPR recommended for annual renewal.
