Course overview

HLTAID016 Manage First Aid Services and Resources develops the skills to establish, manage and maintain effective first aid systems within a workplace. This course is designed for nominated first aid officers, supervisors and managers responsible for ensuring appropriate first aid resources, procedures and support are in place. Training is delivered by qualified paramedics with real-world emergency experience.

Assessment requirements

Assessment for HLTAID016 includes an online theory component and a practical assessment conducted in person. Participants must demonstrate competency in managing workplace first aid systems and resources. There are no written exams.

Entry and prerequisite requirements

Participants are recommended to hold HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) or equivalent prior to undertaking HLTAID016. This course is designed for those taking on a management or coordination role for workplace first aid.
