About Us

First aid training led by real emergency experience.

First Line Training Co. was founded by practising paramedics who saw a gap between how first aid is taught and how emergencies actually unfold. We built a training company to close that gap.

Our Story

Why we started First Line Training Co

After years working on the road as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic across regional Victoria, I've seen firsthand what a massive difference the chain of survival makes. Early recognition, early CPR, early defibrillation and early advanced care aren't just textbook concepts to me — they're the reason we've helped several local members of the community walk out of hospital after a cardiac arrest, back to their families and their lives.

That contrast stays with you: a mannequin on the floor of a community hall is a long way from a real cardiac arrest on a worksite, or in someone's home. My training draws on that real-world experience, working with people from all walks of life and every kind of situation, to help everyday people feel genuinely ready to step in when it matters most.

First Line Training Co was built on a simple premise — first aid training should be delivered by people who have actually used these skills under pressure. Not just instructors who have completed a trainer qualification, but paramedics who respond to emergencies for a living.

What We Stand For

Our values

01

Clinical credibility

Every instructor is a qualified, practising paramedic. Our training reflects current clinical guidelines and real emergency experience — not just what's in the manual.

02

Practical over theoretical

We prioritise hands-on skill development over passive learning. Participants leave our courses having practised the skills, not just heard about them.

03

Accessible and relevant

Training should be available to everyone — not just those who can travel to a city training centre. We come to you, and we tailor content to your context.

04

Honest and direct

We tell participants what they need to know, including the hard parts. Emergencies are stressful and unpredictable — our training reflects that reality.

Accreditation
