HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is the standard nationally recognised first aid certificate, covering a broad range of emergency scenarios. Assessment requirements

Assessment for HLTAID011 includes an online theory component and a practical skills assessment conducted in person. Participants must demonstrate competency across a range of first aid scenarios including CPR, wound management, anaphylaxis and more. There are no written exams.

Entry and prerequisite requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for HLTAID011. This course is open to all participants aged 14 years and over.

Certification

Participants who successfully complete HLTAID011 will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). This certification is valid for 3 years, with CPR (HLTAID009) recommended for annual renewal.
